Coach Terry Bowden

Coach Terry Bowden,

Had another great experience to hear from a fantastic speaker & motivator Terry Bowden. Growing up with his father being the great Bobby Bowden he learned about the family business “football”. He was able to relate his stories of being part of the Bowden family and coaching football into relatable interesting stories about life’s lessons. His southern expressions leave no question of what part of the country he is from. He was another great reminder of always keep your self out there competing to be the best! He reminds you with real world personal examples that to be the best you must work hard. That the secret to success is no secret, but lots of hard work. He talked about when he was a new assistant coach he would make sure he was the 1st person in the office getting the coffee ready, and the last one to leave. His last story he shared was to understand no matter what your role is in life, that you are important and the way you do your role will make a difference.

If you are looking to have people hear from a friendly, outgoing, and relatable person then Terry would be a great fit! This apple did not fall far from the tree of the Great Bobby Bowden.

Desi Williamson "Where there is a Will, There is a way!"

Welcome to my blog of this is your first post reading. I will be sharing with you my thoughts and experiences I have with the most amazing Speakers & Trainers the world has to offer!

I am going to share about Desi Williamson and his book Where There is a Will There's a Way!

I just finished it last night and it was quite a good read and gives me a great view into the life and background of Desi! The enthusiasm and blunt honesty comes through the pages as he shares the most personal challenges he has had growing up in a rough part of STL and working through to make to first play Div 1 college football and then a great corporate career and onto his speaking career.

The one thing I took away from Desi was one of perseverance! He firmly believes in the mantra "where there is a will there's a way!" and to not just "settle" on a career or life because your "comfortable".

From a speaker perspective he is one who can connect on so many levels with so many different types of people and groups. Off the top of my head he would relate with people seeking the areas of diversity, sales, motivation, perseverance, health, depression, social outreach, corporate crowd, and many more.

I have enjoyed talking with Desi and found they he believes in what he says and says what he believes. Most recently he let me know he opened several franchise business locations to prove to a friend that his "theories" do work and will work in the "real world" and he is proving it!
